April Weigh In

6 more pounds down!  Officially, I've lost 25 pounds and I couldn't be happier!  I then got a shake and a hot dog from Scooters and feel crappy - won't do that again!!

I've learned something these past few months.   Losing weight is simple.  It's a matter of calories in, calories out.  Eat less, move more.  It's simple, but not easy.  In fact, losing weight and keeping it off is one of the hardest things that someone can do.  But oh, so worth it!  Keep going everyone - even those that don't make the cut.

I realized yesterday that eating less and healthier has become a habit.  I came home starving from a hair appt. and instead of going right for some junk food to tide me over, grabbed a cheese stick wrapped with turkey.  That's pretty impressive for me!

Weekend

I'm a little nervous about this weekend - I'm going to visit my girls for "mom's weekend" at Ohio University.  I'm excited, but I have a feeling there may be some alcohol in my futures.  I've actually only had 1 drink the entire time we've been doing this contest!  I would rather eat my calories than drink them!  Luckily, OU is a walking campus, kind of hard to drive around there so I will get my workouts in with all the hills there.  Have a great weekend everyone!
